DAY 01: ARRIVE AT KATHMANDU Arrival at Kathmandu International airport (1338m from sea level). Meet & welcome by our representative & transfer to hotel. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. After Check in at hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING Post Breakfast, proceed for the full-day sightseeing including Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, after refreshment continue sightseeing to Swayambhunath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Return to hotel & overnight at Kathmandu. Pasupatinath Temple The Pashupatinath Temple is a famous and sacred Hindu temple complex that is located on the banks of the Bagmati River, approximately 5 kilometers north-east of Kathmandu in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley, the capital of Nepal. BoudhanathStupa Boudhanath is a stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. Swayambunath Swayambhunath is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. The Tibetan name for the site means 'Sublime Trees', for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. Patan Durbar Square Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.
DAY 03: KATHMANDU – POKHARA DRIVE Post Breakfast & drive for Pokhara (200KM / 6 hours) observing the scenic views on the national highway along the Trishuli River enroute can visit Manakamana temple by using cable to reach over there. After Pooja and darshan drive to Pokhara upon arrival, check into the hotel. Evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail. Return to hotel and overnight. Manakamana Temple Named the Manakamana Devi temple after the incarnation of Bhagawati, who grants the wishes of pilgrims of deepest purest heart, according to the Hindu tradition. The temple rests on a 1300-meter hill, west of the city of Kathmandu. Like many other hill top temples, Manakamana Temple also overlooks the Marshyangdi and Trishuli rivers.
DAY 04: POKHARA SIGHTSEEING Breakfast & continue sightseeing tour of Pokhara covering Davi's fall, Seti gorge, Gupteshwor cave and Shree Bindhyabasini Temple. At the end of the tour 1 hour boating on Phewa Lake to Visit Taal Barahi Temple. Return to hotel & overnight. Devi’s Fall The waterfall has a length of 500 meters and depth of 100 feet. Though the waterfall flows all year round it is best viewed from June to September. An interesting note about the waterfall is that it runs down some rocks before disappearing into an underground tunnel leading to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Seti Gorge Seti River is famous for its deceptive river course and its milky white water. The water cuts a deep gorge right across the mighty Mahabharata range and then runs a deep chasm in the middle of the town. The gorge can be seen from a park in the Old Pokhara close to the Gorkha Museum. Gupteshwor Cave The cave is said to be have been discovered in the 16th century. The main cave entrance was not constructed until 1991. The main cave contains two chambers with several shrines located throughout. The largest of these shrines is dedicated to Shiva. There is lighting in the cave that has a power back-up though bringing your own head torch is recommended. Shree Bindhyabasini Temple Shree Bindhyabasini Temple is the oldest temple in the city of Pokhara, Nepal and is located in Ward No. 2, Miruwa. It regularly attracts a large number of locals, Nepalese from across the country and foreigners alike. The main temple is devoted to goddess Bindhyabasini, a Bhagawati who is the incarnation of Kali. Taal Barahi Temple Tal Barahi Temple, also referred to as Lake Temple or Varahi Temple is a two-story pagoda temple situated on a small island on Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Varahi, who is an avatar of Goddess Durga, both Hindu and Buddhist supporters visit here for worship.
DAY 05: POKHARA – CHITWAN DRIVE Drive to Chitwan. Transfer to Hotel for check –in. Upon arrival, lunch will be served at hotel restaurant. Evening, Sunset and Tharu Stick Dance. Overnight in Chitwan Hotel. Tharu Cultural Dance Program Tharu Cultural Programs and Stick Dance. The Tharu Culture Program organized at Sauraha and Meghauli plays a significant role to entertain the tourist visiting Chitwan National Park and to introduce the Tharu Culture and tradition to the tourists.
DAY 06: CHITWAN JUNGLE ACTIVITIES Today you will discover why the National Park holds an important place in preserving the wild lives that are rapidly getting extinct from this planet. You're almost sure to spot one horn rhino, egrets, woodpecker, and deer in their natural habitat. The Park is also home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, genetic dolphin, 500 birds, butterflies, as well as the near extinct Gharials crocodiles and 543 species of birds that include critically endangered Bengal, the vulnerable lesser adjutant, Grey-crowned Prinia and etc. Major Activities: Jeep ride into the national park. Canoe ride. Elephant Breeding Center.
DAY 07: CHITWAN – KATHMANDU DRIVE After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Once arrive in Kathmandu, Drive to Hotel and check in. leisure time of your own you can visit Thamel tourist market. Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel.
DAY 08: DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST) Breakfast & check out from hotel. Timely transfer to the airport for flight to your onward destination with sweet memory of Nepal.
